Here’s the Only Place at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Where You Can Pay with Crypto
Coinduck, launched just last month, may be the only crypto payment platform in Korea. Chain Partners, the seven month old company behind the platform, has been going door-to-door to onboard vendors. Chain Partners is confident it can crack the market where others could not because of its artificial intelligence technology that helps verify transactions much more quickly than the Ethereum blockchain can. Chain Partners’ patent pending technology analyzes transaction trends – users who send genuine payments tend to pay a higher networking fee versus frauds – to process them faster. While the service is only a month old, the demand for the payment system appears to be growing as entrepreneurs catch wind of the news. There are 50 partner stores in Seoul and over 150 nationwide, and the company has plans to accept as many coins as possible.
